The Summer Edition

Another Big Month!
This month, we took an important step forward in securing our long-term strategy by officially partnering with MicroBT. With other operators chasing HPC trends, we’re well positioned to benefit from the coming year of reduced competition.
Mining Disrupt

On July 21-23 we attended Mining Disrupt, a bitcoin mining conference in Miami. It was a great chance to reconnect with friends and partners, and we had a lot of good conversations about where the industry is heading and how we'll keep adapting and growing with it.

MicroBT Whatsminer Official Partnership
We're very excited to announce our official partnership with MicroBT.
As other manufacturers have taken their eye off the ball, we've worked day in and day out to find the right solution for ourselves and our clients. That journey led us to MicroBT, who we've come to trust over multiple years of engagement and real-world testing data. Making that relationship official was the natural next step.

We've now personally purchased and deployed these machines because we believe they're the best option available for long term players, and we're now able to make them available to our clients as well.
MicroBT's latest Whatsminer series delivers top-line efficiency and best-in-class lifespan, reducing service needs to nearly zero based on hundreds of units we've tested.
What matters most for you is what this partnership unlocks. We now have direct access to MicroBT's hardware, 24/7 communication with their technical team, a direct relationship with their service centers which means after-sales support is measured in days, not weeks.
We've always believed the right approach is simple: invest in quality equipment, optimize the tax deductions, and mine with confidence. This partnership allows us to deliver on that standard more than ever.

Introducing Robert Luft as our new Chief Strategy Officer (CSO)

Megawatt has named Robert Luft as Chief Strategy Officer, following its acquisition of his company, Potentia. A 16-year Army veteran and longtime Bitcoin educator, Luft is known for translating a complex industry into plain language and helping newcomers understand how Bitcoin works. He's testified before Congress on issues affecting small businesses and worked with regulators around the world. At Megawatt, he'll lead client onboarding and education while helping shape the company's public-policy strategy.

Interview on Strong Wealth Podcast

Director of Operations Wayne Highfield spoke to Mitch Moore on the Strong Wealth Podcast last month, outlining how BTC mining belongs in a profitable investment portfolio in 2026.

New Inventory Ready for Go-Live
With our new partnership in place, we're getting hundreds of M60S+ and M60S++ miners delivered for same-day deployment.
With multiple new and used options available, they offer a great chance to start fresh or as a trade in option for your fleet. Since they’re already on-site, you can start mining the same day you buy them.

As always, we’re here to answer any questions you may have. Reach out any time.

Network Difficulty Hits 2026 Low - July's adjustments brought difficulty to 126.23 trillion, down nearly 14% since January. Lower difficulty means more Bitcoin per unit of hashrate for the machines still online.
Another Major Operator Exits to AI - Big operators keep redirecting power and capital toward AI, with one recently locking in a multibillion-dollar, 20-year data center lease. As that capacity leaves the network, difficulty falls and every miner still running earns a bigger share of block rewards.
The Cheapest Entry in Years - ASIC prices track Bitcoin's cycles, and with the market well off its 2025 high, current-gen machines cost less of bull-run pricing. For anyone looking to build a position, that makes now one of the better windows in years to deploy at a low hardware cost basis.
Coldcard Security Advisory - Coinkite disclosed a seed generation flaw affecting Mk2, Mk3, Mk4, Mk5 and Q. Updating firmware fixes new seeds but does not repair an existing one, so anyone who generated a seed on older firmware needs a new seed and a migration of funds. If you self-custody on a Coldcard, read the advisory and move carefully.
