New Curtailment Logic Available

You know we prefer to build in-house whenever possible. That’s why we run our own curtailment logic, and continuous improvement of our software has started to yield better rates. So successful has our new approach been to curtailment that we’re now licensing our software to other miners.

Our system not only adjust miner activity based on changing grid conditions, it’s also able to factor anticipated energy costs. It’s thanks to the practical application of our experience that we’ve been able to navigate increasingly volatile power markets.

Director of Operations Wayne Highfield explained the curtailment logic in more detail on the 256 Foundation’s Telehash #4 in May.
