The Hoosier Edition

HB 1042, Indiana’s “Bitcoin Bill of Rights” has officially been signed into law by Governor Braun! We’ve hosted multiple state legislators to our facilities over the years, all part of the groundwork that went into this huge accomplishment for our state. Three years in the making, this new law includes protections for Bitcoiners, like self custody and node-running rights. As well as defining groundwork around Bitcoin Mining that we will continue to build off in upcoming sessions. ![]() We’re especially proud of CEO Ilya Rekhter’s work with lawmakers in developing HB1042. This is an absolute win for Hoosiers, Bitcoiners, and the mining industry as a whole. | ![]() Site tour with State Rep. L. Sweet ![]() Site Tour with State Rep. K. Pierce |

Next-Generation ASIC Capacity Available Today!
In January, we announced we’re offering next-generation MicroBT ASICs, the highest efficiency machines in our fleet. We also announced instant activation: since these M60S++ miners are online and hashing, you can start mining BTC the same day you purchase.
If you’re interested in expanding your fleet or getting started with us, please get in touch with us today to start the conversation.

Free Power Promo
This month we had the chance to revisit some of our modeling. It was less due to market conditions, and more thanks to trying out our new Mining Calculator. What we found was a useful and timely opportunity to take advantage of low prices: Unit Cost.
Locking in a low unit cost on newer ASICs can significantly improve long-term ROI, whether or not they’re correlated to high BTC prices or low difficulty. Studies from the previous cycle, as well as reports looking at recent cycles, have reinforced our own observation that looking for network or hashprice may be less impactful than buying new machines cheap.
Here’s just one example of how buying 10 units now can lead to nearly 40% CAGR:

That’s why we ran our first ever promo last week: Buy 10 or more M60S++ ASICs, get 2 months of power costs free! The idea was to encourage clients to take advantage of historically low prices and get hashing ASAP. We look forward to providing more opportunities like this in the future, so be sure to follow our socials for our next big opportunity.
We decided to extend this promo for one additional week, just for our newsletter subscribers. Reach out today and mention the newsletter for 2 months of free power.

Bitcoin Network Recovers 15% after Major Series of Drops After an unprecedented series of difficulty adjustments, with 6 of the last 7 adjustments downward - network hashrate has begun to recover, and in dramatic fashion. While the jump is on a scale not seen in years, the next difficulty adjustment looks to be considerably milder.
Winter Storm Fern Led to Unprecedented Curtailment With data on the recovery now in, we can see the impact of the winter storm on mining, as well as the impact of mining on the response. An estimated 200 EH curtailed, freeing up over 3 GW of power, according to our estimate.
