This past month has been one of our most productive yet. We’re wrapping up our 2025 deployments, expanding our long-term roadmap, and preparing for several exciting expansions ahead in 2026. We’ve also been working closely with clients and our CPA partners to navigate the reinstated 2025 tax incentives and ensure everyone is positioned to benefit from them.

We recognize that the recent BTC price movement hasn’t been the easiest backdrop for miners. Many clients are feeling the impact, and it’s important to acknowledge current network state. Positively, we’ve had two consecutive downward difficulty adjustments, and another adjustment coming next week. Choppy markets historically create some of the strongest long-term advantages for hosted miners, here are two key concepts to keep in mind:

• Tax-loss strategies can meaningfully improve year-end outcomes. We’ve been coordinating with the team at Open Path Finance on this for clients exploring those options - more on that below.

• Mining as a built-in DCA engine continues to shine in volatile environments long-term. Historically, steadily accumulating BTC at a blended cost over time has outperformed many timing-based strategies in similar conditions, River breaks this down here.

Despite the current noise, this has still been an exceptionally productive year across our facilities and partnerships. We’re committed to helping clients navigate conditions with clarity, tools, and optionality as we head into the new year. • New Hydro Expansion

  With an over 100 MW pipeline, we’re excited about the next chapter for Megawatt. We’re strongly evaluating locations for our first hydro site, and early signals are encouraging. While nothing is official yet, we’re opening deposits for clients who want preferred placement once we move forward. Reach out to us if you’re looking to break into hydro in 2026.
  

• More Hosting Available in 2026

  As we wrap up the year in Q4, our team is preparing for upwards of 5MW in available hosted capacity for 2026 for New-generation Air-cooled equipment. We will have more updates in our January newsletter on specific opportunities for the new year!

• Zaprite for Billing

  We’re excited to announce plans to migrate our billing system to Zaprite, a Bitcoin focused payments provider, in Q1 of 2026. You’ll still be able to pay with your preferred method, Zaprite is simply going to make those payments easier. We’ve been working with their amazing team to prepare the transition for early next year, and will have more specific dates soon.
  

• Bonus Depreciation Calculator

  We’re finishing up a free tool for clients to calculate the potential returns you can expect from leveraging bonus depreciation tax write-off from buying AISCs. You’ll be able to experiment with multiple configurations to hone in on the optimal strategy for you. Here is a sneak peek ⬇️

• PubCo’s becoming Artificially Intelligent - Public Bitcoin mining companies are pivoting to AI and HPC with serious speed. This means less new mining hashrate coming online from the large U.S. players, and ideally more breathing room for Bitcoin mining revenue moving forward.

• The Zettahash Era Begins - The Bitcoin hashrate broke the long-anticipated milestone of 1 zettahash per second and hasn’t looked back. Even with two consecutive downward difficulty adjustments in a row, it remains above this historic level, indicating continued incentives and proof that Bitcoin mining is here to stay!

• Whatsminer M70 Launch - At the Whatsminer Summit in Abu Dhabi, Whatsminer unveiled its M70 models, the next step in its ASIC series. While production has only just begun, we’ll be working to secure availability for Megawatt and clients, as well as roll out and benchmarks when we get these units in hand.

• Mining Disrupt - Mining Disrupt held its first Texas event in Dallas in November, and we were there to ring it in. This was a great chance to catch up industry trends, meet with partners old and new, and explore product releases. Next, we’re headed to the 2026 Mining and Energy Summit in Nashville.
